Sun Sets Red

Can day turn to night in any other way?

I’ve had a good day so far, sharing amazingly funny Disney videos.  Just taking it easy for a while, it was a nice day.  How then, can it get better.

Twice I say.

A while back, my friend’s father asked me to edit and look over a script he had written for a movie, simply titled Pickles and Ice Cream.  A short, five minute film about a man’s epic struggle to please the pregnant people we love.  On top of looking over the script, I was asked to play a small role in the film.

So I did.  And now I’m on IMDB.  Sadly, I’ve yet to see the final product, but the experience was incredible.  My thanks go out to Robert Eldon for giving me that opportunity, and of course, thinking so highly of me and my writing that I’d be a good candidate to say, “This is good,” to his script.

It gets better.  For those who care enough to notice, the top of this blog contains links to various sites that I’ve taken interest in.  Two of them link to Jaron Eldon, a close friend of mine (yes Super Sleuth’s, your intuition’s right), and his music.  A while ago, during Feburary to be exact, he participated in Febuary Album Writing Month, FAWM for short.  He wrote an entire album in a short amount of time, finished it, polished it, and the album can be listened to by simply following the appropriate aforementioned links.

He’s at it again.  Participating in another music writing event called 50/90, Jaron is attempting to write, produce, and fully construct 50 songs in 90 days.  And he’s already well under way.  A new link will be added to the links at the top of this blog, in which you can go to his new project and listen to his music.  While you’re at it, take a look at Stephen Cope, Tim Moyer, Katie Dwyer, and Shane Duarte, a mutual friend of mine and Jaron’s.  They all have different styles of music, so feel inclined to swim around until you find that one spot of the pool that’s warmer than the rest.

I’ll ask again, can day turn to night in any other way?
